Our team is collaborating with a leading company that develops cutting-edge AI-driven social companion solutions, designed to empower older adults to live independently and stay socially connected. The product we are building is a proactive, voice-enabled robot that offers conversation, entertainment, reminders, and wellness support. Her name is Elliq!

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of a complex, large-scale system that powers a unique and impactful product. You will have the opportunity to work on a meaningful project, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Build complex, scalable, data-intensive, and robust systems (preferably in the cloud).

• Build continuous deployment and integration environments.

• Drive end-to-end architecture and implementation of scalable client-server solutions.

• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-quality, user-focused products.

• Stay hands-on with coding while also mentoring and guiding best practices.

• Explore and integrate cutting-edge technologies.
   

What we are looking for

• Proven, deep knowledge of Java and hands-on experience in building scalable, production-grade systems.

• 6+ years of experience as a developer who loves to code and can adapt across different languages and environments.

• Some experience or willingness to work with modern stacks such as Typescript & Node.js, React.js, Express.js.

• Familiarity with Google-related tools (Firebase, GCP) is considered a plus.

• Exposure to SQL databases and NoSQL solutions (MongoDB, Firestore).

• Experience in building systems and development (including testing) environments.

• Work with containerized development environments (e.g., Docker).

• Architectural knowledge, cloud experience (any cloud provider).

• To produce a product and support it for more than 10,000 users.
