We are looking for an experienced HR professional who is ready to play a leading role in realizing this vision.


The Role

As a Head of People Operations at Programize, you will play a key role in shaping how the company works and grows. You will strengthen and evolve our people practices, culture, and employee experience, building on what already exists while helping the organization mature and scale in a thoughtful, people-centric way.

This role combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution. You will design and improve the frameworks that support hiring, performance, development, engagement, and compliance, ensuring they are fair, consistent, and aligned with our values and business goals. Working closely with senior leadership, you will help position Programize as an employer of choice by creating an environment where people feel supported, engaged, and able to grow.

​Responsibilities

​

Culture and Employee Experience

  • Reinforce a healthy, values-driven culture that positions Programize as an employer of choice.

  • Build a smooth, consistent employee experience across the full employee lifecycle.

  • Drive employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention through meaningful initiatives and communication.
     

Talent, Performance and Growth

  • Ensure hiring practices attract the right talent and support long-term success and retention.

  • Design and maintain performance management and feedback processes that support fairness, growth, and recognition.

  • Establish talent development and career progression frameworks.
     

People Operations and Strategy

  • Formulate clear and fair people policies and ensure their consistent implementation.

  • Oversee HR administration, compliance, compensation, and benefits management.

  • Partner with leadership to align People strategy with overall business goals.
     

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in HR / People Μanagement roles.

  • Proven experience across the employee lifecycle.

  • Strong understanding of technology-driven (ideally software) businesses.

  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism, integrity, and discretion.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation.

  • Able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and a quality-driven mentality.

  • Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and across teams.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
